Rendering showing an imaginary RX-35 style camera with fixed 35mm f/1.4 lens

Hessel sent me this image with the following text:

Just for fun… Wanted to send a concept of an ‘RX-35’ style camera. Distagon 35mm miniaturised to match a 1-inch sensor to keep it extremely compact and bright. Front dial in place of the zoom-rocker. Grip from the HX-99. Oh and no lens curtain, but place for a real lenscap and hood instead.

Would be the perfect daily camera for many, I think!

Let’s see if our readers love this idea :)

We photographed 1 model with every SONY LENS and these were the results

Ed Gregory contacted me to share his latest creation posted on Photosincolor.com:

I managed to get Sony lend me every single lens they have and I shot one model with it. It was a lot of fun to shoot and got some pretty great results. The video has photo examples throughout, a cool morph of all the images at the beginning and end and I had a lot of other creators join me int he video. People like Manny Ortiz, Irene Rudnyk, Gerald Undone, iJustine, iPhonedo and more.
