Sony WH-1000XM4 headphone leaked

This isn’t an Alpha leak but I know many of you use headphones for video editing like I do. I just recently bought the discounted Sony WH1000XM3 headphones. Well the new WH1000XM4 just got leaked and I guess they will be announced very soon. They look exactly like the XM3 but have those additional new features (via TheVerge):

  • Bluetooth v5 (updated from v4.2)
  • 2W of rated power consumption (down from 8W)
  • 40 hours of operation when connected via headphone cable and noise cancelation on max (up from 36 hours)
  • Something new called “speak to chat,” perhaps making it easier to work with Google Assistant, Siri, and Alexa (they require a button press now)

Tokina promises to launch five new E-mount lenses in 2020!

Today Tokina issued a press release to inform about the development of five new lenses for the E-mount system

  1. 35mm f/1.8 Full Frame E-mount
  2. 50mm f/1.8 Full Frame E-mount
  3. 23mm f/1.4 APS-C lens for Sony E
  4. 33mm f/1.4 APS-C lens for Sony E
  5. 56mm f/1.4 APS-C lens for Sony E

The APS-C lenses aren’t coming as a big surprise. These exact same lenses have been announced a couple of months ago by Viltrox :) And we know Tokina 85mm f/1.8 FE  and Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 FE share the same optical design (article here).

All lenses are expected to have autofocus. The APS-C lenses will be released in Summer and the Full Frame lenses in autumn.

The Sirui 50mm f/1.8 anamorphic E-mount lens will ship for $700 in April

Dpreview reports that the new Sirui 50mm f/1.8 anamorphic E-mount lens will ship for $700 in April:

The lens, which enables 2.4:1 aspect ratio shooting, is available in mounts for Sony-E, Fujifilm X and Micro Four Thirds, and will retail for around $700 / £660. Designed to cover APS-C sized sensors the lens offers a field of view that equates to a 37.5mm lens, according to Sirui, as the optics increase the horizontal angle of coverage by 33%.

Apparently the only way to preorder the lens is on this website: sirui.com/index/optical/anamorphiclens.html
