We just had a busy A9 announcement time and soon Sony will announce 1-2 new FE lenses. Before we move on to new rumors I want to share my very personal wish list to Sony and our readers:
Sony A7rIII (or A9r): 50+ Megapixels, same A9 body but with improved touchscreen functionalities.
135mm f/1.8 FE
24-105mm FE: Perfect as an ultimate travel zoom
28mm f/1.8 GM prime lens
50mm f/1.2 GM lens: I hear you wondering why I need another 50mm lens. But I do love the Canon 50mm f/1.2.
This is what I would consider to buy if Sony would fulfill my dream list :)
The Nissin Air 10s release date postponed to July 2017
Previously, the Nissin Air 10s advance wireless commander (Sony version) was scheduled to be released to the public in April 2017, followed by the Fujifilm, Micro Four Thirds, Canon, and Nikon versions to be released in subsequent months.
We have postponed the release date of the Air 10s commander (Sony version) to July 2017 due to the match of product specifications with Nissin’s future flash products. The Nissin Air 10s Sony version is set to be released first, and the other models will gradually be released to the public in the following months.
Nissin would like to apologize for the delay. Thank you for your continued support.
The Sony A9 seems to be a real good camera. But dear Sony…you what would really be a Killer camera? The Sony A9r! That camera got four times as many votes in our poll. So please give us as soon as you can a new High Megapixel camera with 60-70MP, 5-7 fps, and the same A9 body.
From what I know the A9r is not coming very soon (which means not on the market within 3-6 months). And based on the first A9 reviews it would be nice if Sony could fix/improve some things too: Mainly improve the touchscreen functions and reduce the buffer time lag. SAR readers can comment this post with their suggestion and I am sure Sony is reading you ;)

Note: It’s yet unclear if the new camera will be named A9r or A7rIII (my bet is on the latter).

Cameta interviewed a Sony manager and here are a few news:
1) First he confirmed that they are working on new telephoto lenses
2) More weather resistant than the current A7 series cameras (you can shoot with the A9 in the rain)
And now to the very bold claims we have to verify in real life yet:
1) Canon lenses will autofocus faster on the A9 than on Canon cameras
2) Almost the same High ISO performance of the A7s
3) Says the A9 suffers of less overheating than the competition
Annoying:
He said having two UHS-II card slot are unnecessary (SAR note: We ALL disagree)
Whenever someone complains about Sony service I know that this is a very delicate matter. I know that I don’t have access to full facts and I know that we are only hearing the “victim’s” voice here.
But I know Ole Johan Aanestad is an honest guy and he deserves to be helped on that matter. So please Sony, help him.
