Sony A7III in Stock at BuyDig (new review at Admiringlight)

A limited Stock of A7III bodies is now in Stock at BuyDig (Click here).

And Jordan Steele from Admiringlight published his full A7III review:

While the A7 III is by no means a flawless camera, it gets so much right that any minor flaws are extremely easy to live with.
When you look at the positives, the list of them is extremely long and varied.
The A7 III gains one of the very best autofocus systems in any camera, with nearly the same capabilities as the more expensive A9. The EyeAF functionality is outstanding, and the overall responsiveness of the camera is on a very high level. The new image sensor sees gains in almost every area, with outstanding low-light performance and excellent dynamic range and color response. Add in the excellent Sony feature set, improved ergonomics, the focus joystick, an expansive viewfinder, 10 fps shooting and a deep buffer and the A7 III becomes that rare beast: a jack of all trades that is a master of most.

When you look at the whole package and the modest $1,998 price tag, the A7 III also becomes an exceptional value.

I have little doubt the new Tamron 28-75mm FE lens will deliver high image quality. But the big unknown until today was…how good (or bad) will be its autofocus performance compared to the Sony 24-70mm GM lens?

Well today we got the first answer! Our reader Marcell just spotted this first autofocus test video:

Of course we have to see more in-depth videos to draw a final conclusion…but so far it seems to work pretty well!

TCSTV youtubers Chris and Jordan now work for Dpreview. And they just posted their A7III review video!

We got two big news: First, Chris and Jordan left TheCameraStore to work for Dpreview (Full article here). Second, their first review for Dpreview is for the new Sony A7III:

Tamron 28-75mm FE versus 24-70mm GM and Zeiss size comparison

Since yesterday the new Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 FE lens can be preordered here:
In the US at BHphoto, BuyDig and Adorama for $799.
in the EU at WexUK, Fotokoch for 829 Euro or 699 pounds.

CameraSize added the new Tamron 28-75mm FE lens on their size comparison database. As you can see the 28-75mm is much more compact than the GM lens. But the trade off is you loose 4mm at the wide end.

The new Tamron lens has the potential to be a hotseller. So let’s see how many of our readers will actually buy it:
