Confirmed: Two new Sony Full Frame E-mount cameras coming in Q3, but no Sony A1II this year!
In my previous post I told you about what to expect in May and June (read here if interested). I told you several times that Sony will announce a new full-frame camera only in the second half of the year. And now I have begun to receive the first rumors about it. So far what has been confirmed by reliable sources is this:
Between July and October we should get at least:
- One new Alpha Full Frame camera
- One new FX Full Frame camera
I also can confirm this:
- The Alpha camera is not the Sony A1II. That camera is likely to be announced in early 2025 only.
Surprises:
- But…..there is some unconfirmed rumors about additional models too! So there might be some additional surprises!
You will wonder, what are those new FX and Alpha FF cameras?
I might be soon able to tell you more about the FX camera while about the Alpha camera I still do not have a final confirmation. Could be the A7sIV…but that’s just my speculation for now. That’s all, I am not going to spill out unreliable rumors yet in the hope I can get more reliable info soon.
