Kamlan 55mm f/1.4 FE lens will be released on August 26th

Kamlan announced that their new 55mm f/1.4 lens will be available for preorder on August 26th for 30,690 yen (tax included). That’s around $225. Some image samples can be found at sightron.co.jp/kamlan/55mmF1.4.html

Key Features:

• A standard lens with a maximum aperture of F1.4 for full frame.
• The angle of view of the standard lens is close to that seen by the naked eye, making it an easy-to-use lens for all purposes.
• The maximum aperture of F-number is 1.4, which is extremely bright, making it useful for shooting in dimly lit areas such as indoors or in the evening. In addition, it can be used for a wide range of expressions, such as portraits in which the background is greatly blurred, making use of the shallow depth of field.
• A circular diaphragm with 13 diaphragm blades is used, so you can enjoy beautiful circular bokeh.
• The lens body is made entirely of metal and incorporates eight lenses, including high-refractive glass, for a durable and luxurious finish.
