(SR5) More images of the new NEX-5T

Share

Here are two new images of the NEX-5T. As you see there isn’t much difference with the [shoplink 14168 ebay]Sony NEX-5R[/shoplink]. It also shares the same sensor. Unlike the 5R the 5T has It has NFC, FN-button control like on SLT cameras, new Menu Interface and a couple of more things.

Now all that’s left to leak is the ILC-3000 cheap entry-level E-mount camera. I think we will see it soon…

(SR5) UPDATED: Larger image of the two new E-mount zooms and Black 50mm.

Share

Today is leaking day :)

After the NEX-5T and lens leak we now can finally see some bigger images of the new E-mount zoom. The image on top shows the new 16-70mm f/4.0 oSS Zeiss. It has a filter diameter of 55mm and will cost around $1,000. And than we have an image of the 18-105mm G PZ lens with that huge 72mm filter size diameter. A lens made for filmmakers :)

UPDATE: There is also an image of the new Black version of the current 50mm f/1.8 lens.

These lenses along the NEX-5T and ILC-3000 will be announced next week.

(SR4) More detailed NEX-5T and ILC-3000 sensor info

Share

A nice source ;) sent me more useful info about the new NEX sensors:

NEX-5T
The NEX-5T is using the same IMX080AQM-13 CMOS sensor as the 5R. But it has been slightly “improved”.

ILC-3000
The ILC-3000 is using a new 20MP sensor-IMX156AQL-13 and it’s new.

Stay tuned on SAR! These new stuff will be announced next week (likely on August 27).

(SR4) UPDATED: A-3000 (or ILC-3000) will cost 300 pounds.

Share

A trusted source (Thanks!) told me that the A3000 body  cost around 300 pounds. it will be also available with the 18-55mm as kit lens. The EVF is 200K only(!). That is not much but the target-group is beginners.

Will take the chance to ask the source if he heard something about the NEX-FF cameras. Thanks!

UPDATE: Another source said Have read the ILC-3000 has the lowest resolution screen in the E-Mount lineup at 230k and no fast PDAF, only contrast AF system. Battery is the NP-FW50 used by the NEX series and SLT-A33/35/37.
