Nikon Pakistan listed the void Z 8 product page. As this camera is going to compete with the Sony A7rV I was interested to see the specs. But to my uprise all they did display for a short period of time is a well known FAKE image :)
Jay gives LOTS of detail about recent FX3 firmware upgrades, why shuttle angle and open gate still aren’t there, why Sony Alpha and Cinema cameras are still different. All of the questions that sony users have are asked here! The answers are as open as they can make them – but it’s clear that Sony is listening. And it is NOT clear that the FX3 firmware upgrades will ever make it back to the A7S3… :-(

For the first time the Sony 50mm F/1.4 GM lens is in Stock and shipping out at BHphoto. Amazon. Adorama!
BHphoto currently lists sixty-one 50mm E-mount lenses, and if I would have lived under a rock my whole live and suddenly woke up to buy a 50mm lens…this is likely the lens I would consider to buy.
This is the first image of the new lens shared by Pergear. Full lens specs and pricing will be announced in May. There is also a new image of the 27mm f/1.2 XF lens for Fuji. This lens is likely to be announced sometimes in late 2023 as E-mount version too.
We all know Sony will launch a 300mm f/2.8 GM prime lens by end of 2023 (the lens list listed here at BH). But in my latest video I bring you my case why this new Canon 100-300mm f/2.8 lens makes much more sense than owning a 300mm prime. Yes, the Sony will cost $2-3000 less than the Canon, but the 100-300mm L is much more flexible and can be used for a variety of different scenarios. You might end up saving money because this one lens is good enough to replace a couple of primes and zooms!
So I hope Sony will make such a lens too. But I also have one more deeper secret hope: Sigma doing an E-mount version of their famous 120-300mm f/2.8 lens that still sells for $3,600 only at Amazon. Nearly one third of the price of the Canon!
What do you think, would you buy a Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 FE lens?
