It’s years I didn’t such favorable poll numbers for a new lens. Over 76% of you are seriously considering to buy the new Tamron 35-150mm f/2.0-28 FE lens! Here are the results:

Loading ...Now it’s natural to think that Tamron could (and should!) expand that fast zoom lineup. And some of you suggested me to make this poll. The 17-35 f/2.0-2.8 FE would probably be the perfect lens to cover the entire 17-150mm focal length. So the question is….

Dpreviews conclusion is:
Sony’s trio of compact primes offer respectable optical performance, fast focus, and great handling and controls in a compact, lightweight form factor. The 50mm F2.5G is tack sharp wide open, with nearly zero distortion and lateral chromatic aberration. Unfortunately it suffers from textured bokeh and fringing due to longitudinal chromatic aberration. Focus breathing may be an issue for some videographers.
