Gavin:Thought you might like to share this timelapse movie that was shot entirely with the Sony A7R https://vimeo.com/97785257

Baron: During our family vacation, I got to test the Sony FDR-AX100. As a tourist I needed a small and lightweight video camera. As a videographer I wanted to shoot in a higher resolution than HD. My subjects were shy and fast. The Malaysian weather was unpredictable. To add to that challenge, I brought along my hyperactive 3 year old daughter. I’m happy to say that the Sony AX100 met all my needs. Editing the 4K footage in Final Cut Pro X on an iMac was very smooth. Vacationeers and travellers would enjoy using the Sony AX100. Here’s the video. Be sure to watch it in 4K http://youtu.be/YOgwCtgO1Vs

Heather & Mat:Here is a recent article we wrote about using the Sony A7 (yes, that’s right, the A7 not the A7s!) for low-light video shooting. The video is of a contemporary dance performance that took place 30 metres underground in the ancient Bourbon Tunnel in Napoli (Naples).
