Sony Zeiss 24mm for NEX review
Andrew Reid posted his final NEX-7 video quality review at EosHD (Click here): “Faced with the 5D Mark II and Panasonic GH2, the NEX 7 is a better stills camera than the GH2, ergonomically superior to both for video, has great colour and tonality in the standard picture profiles, but is not up there in terms of resolution and compression.”

but probably you need to have a little sense of humour to understand his style
it’s curious to see how people can easily get upset and feel exceeds with something they don’t understand !!
If you don’t like, you don’t have to watch ! it’s as simple as that !!

3 months ago |Well, maybe it’s not that “we don’t understand” this guy. It’s also possible to understand him and still have the opinion that he’s a jerk. The way he takes a shot of the man without legs is quite a cringe moment. There’s something about this guy and his attitude that makes me feel sick.

4 months ago |When ever you watch his reviews of the Leica X1- or anything Leica. I have never heard him complain about the cost. Yet when he reviews a lens that is 1/4th the price of the equivelent Leica lens, all he can talk about is how it is a good lens, but sooo pricey.
The thing that bugs me about his reviews are the lack of objectivity. So here is my prediction – He will love the X 1 Pro and the OM-D and have unbridled praise and never mention the price.

4 months ago |He is doing what he set out to do. Make it about him. That’s fine, but many people couldn’t care less about his hair and would rather focus on the camera. As others mentioned, though, it’s his right to do it and your right to not watch it if you don’t want to.
It seems he might be trying a bit too hard, but maybe that’s just me. I really would rather it focus on the camera, but find myself watching it regardless. I like watching the reaction of the people he runs up on to take a shot of (and the reaction of the people around him). Him running up to someone would probably irritate me if I was there though :/

4 months ago |His impressions of the 24mm are close to my own. I think it’s a solid performer, while not perfect. But it is by far the best E-mount lens currently available.

4 months ago |Who can tell me if the SEL24F18ZA is stabilized or not? I don’t see OSS in the specs on sonystyle.com. If it is not stabilized I will consider getting the SAL version instead.

4 months ago |I own one. It’s not stabilized. It’s a wide angle lens and it’s fast, so it doesn’t really need to be.
