I remember the day when Sony launched the NEX-7 many of you were saying, damn, I would love that camera having less Megapixels and being cheaper. And Sony actually listened to you and made it real. If you won the camera you may be interested to know that Jerod Foster now wrote a NEX-6 book that can be preordered at Amazon (Click here).

But today SAR reader Jacob found an almost unbelievable deal where you can get an additional $100 rebate. Now let’s see how that new NEX-7 successor will be. Rumored to come in a few months but still working on the specs (all I know is that it has a new sensor).

The Bower 24mm f/1.4 for Sony just got a $200 discount at BHphoto (Click here). Some of you may say…who the heck is Bower? Don’t worry it’s just Samyang trying to fool you again :)

Samyang is using different brand names in different countries: In USA Rokinon, Samyang, Opteka, Bower and in Europe: Samyang, Rokinon, Walimex, Falcon, Vivitar. So don’t be worried. This is a great quality lens! Just read the final conclusion from the Photozone review (Canon mount version): “It may be a bit embarrassing for the original manufacturers but the Samyang 24mm f/1.4 ED AS UMC manages to produce a quality similar to its roughly double priced counterparts.”

By the way, their new  24mm tilt-shift lens should be released in March!

Many times I get the question if there will be a replacement or a second RX100 model.
