New Primers Equinox series starts from this camera. These Primers are designed for professional log recording 10 bit+ cameras. This particular package is designed specifically for FS7 sensor and S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine basis and it optimizes the signal for Rec.709, significantly improving Sony FS7 performance.
Included are 4 64x64x64 .cube files for post production workflow and 4 33x33x33 .cube files for camera and set preview.

01 Base is best suited for a colorist, other three are more definitive and closer to the final outcome and may be more helpful to shooters working on their own material and as a set preview. All four are greyscale neutral and utilize full available dynamic range of the sensor and recorded shadow and highlight data is preserved. This makes S-Log3 workflow much more practical and consistent and there is no shadow accentuated noise as initially assumed with S-Log3.

Achieved:
– Improved color performance on many aspects across the whole signal range
– Optimized utilization of full sensor dynamic range
– More natural and organic image impression

Primers should be used as a first step in post on S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine shot material and all color modifications apart from white point correction should come after the signal is optimized.
