“Not so accurate” Weibo A9III and A7rv rumors spreading on the web

CameraBeta posted this rumor:

Sony A9 III may be released in the fourth quarter] There are new rumors, the new Sony A9 III is expected to be officially released in the fourth quarter of this year, the new camera still uses a 24 million pixel sensor, with a new menu, equipped with a tiltable angle screen, support 4K video shooting at 60 frames per second is expected to cost $4,999, or about RMB 32,000.
At the same time, there is very little information about the A7R V, but it is expected that the new machine should be released in the fourth quarter of this year.

As far as I heard the timing of the A7RV release isn’t true which leads me believe that this rumor might be not correct at all, because it will be announce long before the A9III. But I see all other rumor sites posted it without questioning so I figured I have to share my two cents.

First rumors about possible unexpected Sony camera surprise…

I told you a couple of times that for sure this year we will get the A7RV and A9III. Both cameras will be on market for the second half of the year only due the worldwide sensor chip shortage. But last in December I also started to get some “hints” about unexpected new E-mount gear. And now that I got the same “hint” from three different sources I will share with you what this is about:

Basically there is a chance that Sony might introduce something “different” and “new”. Not a successor of a current existing camera. The sources didn’t tell me what this might be. So don’t read too much into it for now. The last time we rumored about something “new” we got the Sony A7C that didn’t really meet the high expectations. I hope to get more info about this model soon…

What do you think...what "new" camera should be done by Sony?
