Sony 18-200mm lens (we already told you that)

Share

Many readers contacted us to ask us why we didn’t post the news that dpreview, photographyblog and many other websites reported today. The news is that the Sony 18-200mm lens will be available starting from September the 10th. We didn’t post it because we posted that news 6 days ago: https://www.sonyalpharumors.com/sony-nex-18-200mm-lens-starts-shipping-on-september-the-10th/ :)

We also told you that the lens is available for preorder on Amazon Deutschland, Amazon UK and Amazon France.

(SR3) New E-mount Zeiss lenses for E-mount to be shown at Photokina in September?

Share

According to two new sources (so not a certain rumor!) Sony will show new Zeiss lenses for E-mount at Photokina in September. The sources couldn’t tell me if Sony will only show or also release the lenses. The design of the lenses will be based on current ZM lenses. Click here to check out all current ZM lenses availability and prices on eBay.

Please keep in mind that the rumor is not from our known sources. We are trying to get some reliable infos from them. But we from SonyAlphaRumors are 100% sure that Zeiss will make lenses for the NEX-system. The question is only when they will make it and what lens will come. If you know something about the future ZEISS lenses feel free to contact us using the form on the right! Thanks!

Let us know what lens you are going to buy (you can also select them all if you have the $$$):

Above: The Sony DT 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6

Accroding to one of our sources Sony will also introduce follwing two lenses at Photokina: The 16-50mm f/2.8 SAM and the 10-20mm G which replaces the current Sony DT 11-18mm f/4.5-5.6.

We still need to confirm the rumor with one of our second sources…
