If you (like me) will be a future A7r camera owner than check out the many new image samples that have been posted today:
1) Full Size ISO samples have been posted on Photographyblog.
2) A7r (and A7) full size image samples and ISO test at eprice.com.hk.
3) Next A7r ISO test and a couple of A7 images at Dcfever.com.

Of course what you see are JPEG samples only and we can expect RAW files to be a tiny bit better. After careful pixel peeping..

Hasselblad launches the A7 clone named Solar ($10.000)

Hasselblad only waited 24h to announce their own A7 clone named “Hasselblad Solar“. I can imagine now the masses of people canceling their preorder at Amazon US to get this $10,000 luxury version!  Joke ;) I really like Hasselblad for what they did in the past..and I would love to see them work on a Hassy-Sony medium format camera!

Sony says A-mount will continue. New semipro A-mount camera in 2014

As reported on Amateur Photographer and Photographyblog Sony stressed to say that A-mount stays well alive. Both lineups will continue. And Sony even told at PB that “a new mid to high-end Alpha mount camera body is currently under development. Due to be released in 2014”

I will work on new A and E-mount rumors from today on!

UPDTED: Technical issue on comment system (new SAR installation this afternoon)

For some yet not known reasons the WordPress software on which SonyAlphaRumors runs is having issued with filtering spam and comments. If the problem can’t be solved the next couple of hours at noon (12:00 CET) we will make a complete new installation of WordPress. This means:
1) for now no comments go through
2) The site may be offline for 1-2 hours this afternoon

As long as I can I will post news on SAR. Thanks for your understanding.
