Latest CIPA report gives hope the camera market downtrend might have bottomed out

2020 was a terrible year for the camera industry because of the corona outbreak. It would have been a real bummer if 2021 would underperfom it. The new CIPA data shows that indeed we might do better than 2020. The February shipments were about the same as in 2020. I am pretty sure the upcoming months Japanese manufacturers will produce, ship and sell more cameras than they did in Spring and Summer 2020.
