Funleader Cap lens 18mm f/8 review by Marc Alhadeff

Share

Marc Alhadeff from SonyAlphablog tested the Funleader 18mm f/8 Cap lens:

The Funleader Caplens 18mm F8 (149$) is an toy lens : as small as a body cap and without any controls (no focusing ring and no aperture controls). Its price is a little bit high for such a lens but quality is there with good sharpness , no color shift , good vintage colors
Compared to 7Artisans 18mm F6.3, Thingyfy Pinhole Pro S that fall in the same category it is much more usable on a day to day and is fun to use

You safe 5% on the 18mm f/8.0 FE cap lens on the official Funleader store (use code “5sales”).

NiSi 15mm f/4.0 FE lens review by Marc Alhadeff: “very good lens”

Share

You can now preorder the new Nisi 15mm FE lens at BHphoto and Adorama.

Marc Alhadeff from SonyAlpha.Blog tested the new NiSi 15mm f/4.0 FE lens:

The NiSi 15mm F4, the first lens from NiSi , is a very good ultra wide angle combining very good shaprness, very nice sunstars, low distorsion , compatibility with standard filter and 100mm filter holder system all that at a very reasonable price : 479 euros

Compared to its closest competitors in term of size and price , the Laowa 14mm F4 (670 euros) and the Voigtländer 15mm F4.5 (699 euros), the NiSi offer the best balance of performances : It has less field curvature than the Laowa , a better centre sharpness than the Voigtländer and is the only one with a removable lens hood to allow a standard filter holder. It is a little bit bigger than the 2 others but stay quite compact and it is the cheapest of the 3 !

Highly recommended
