Dpreview published their full Sony A7sIII review. The camera earned the “Gold Award”:
The Sony a7S III is a powerful video tool that can shoot 4K footage at up to 120p (up to 60p with no crop), in a variety of 10-bit formats to provide plenty of flexibility in terms of both grading and workflow. It has dependable autofocus, in-body stabilization and good battery life to boost its run-and-gun credentials. Its 12MP resolution means it’s less impressive as a stills camera but it’s a hugely powerful choice for independent video producers.
You can now check out the full Sony Q3 financial report (Click here). As a whole the company reported a staggering +20% of operating income. Impressive if you consider the Coronavirus crisis. Moreover they also managed to basically sell the same amount of cameras of the previous year which I truly didn’t expect! The electronics segment as a whole also had an impressive operating income increase.
Those numbers just confirm that Sony is one of the very few companies still doing well in the camera business. One more reason to invest in the E-mount system if you want to be futureproof.
