Climbed to the top of a skyscraper spire in bangkok to take this night shot. With no support for a tripod, the Sony A7s sensor was the only thing that allowed me to get a clear shot. I don’t think I could have gotten it with any other camera on the market.

The sun glasses…. [mong-blong] DIY light tent. 2 speedlight triggered by wireless radio transmitter. 1 from left above @ 1/4 power (gn 54), 1 from right above at 1/4 power (GN 40). To gain detail on inner side of glasses, a sheet of reflecting material placed underneath the glasses

Quite a difficult shot to expose. Had to use a 3 stop soft ND Grad filter (Hitech), overlaying a part of the dark portion of the filter over the water, to control the exposure. I also used a 4 stop non-grad ND to achieve the long exposure.
