New Sony A7III reviews by Kai and Imaging Resource

On top you can watch Kai’s take on the Sony A7III. And Imaging Resource published the final A7III review conclusion:

Sony keeps knocking it out of the park with their full-frame mirrorless cameras. Each generation gets better and better, and with the A7 III, especially, they’ve created an impressive all-around camera with professional-level image quality, performance and features, while at the same time maintaining a price point that’s attainable for a lot of photographers. Sure, if you need more resolution, the A7R is there; and if you need crazy-fast burst speeds, the A9 is waiting. But you’ll pay a lot for these upgrades. The Sony A7 III, on the other hand, is all about balance; it’s a “Goldilocks” camera in a way. The A7 III offers such a well-balanced mix of performance, quality and features that it suits many different types of photographers and many photographic disciplines, and it’s worth the current ~$600 premium over the Mark II model in our books. As we said earlier, if you’ve been pondering the move to a mirrorless camera, especially full-frame, the Sony A7 III should absolutely be at the top of your list.
As you can guess, the Sony A7 III definitely gets the thumbs-up as a Dave’s Pick!

New Sony A7III reviews and tests by Manny Ortiz, Photographyblog and more…

On top you can see Manny Ortiz new A7III video where he tests the camera for portrait shooting. And Photographyblog published the full A7III review conclusions:

The Sony A7 III is quite simply the best camera available at its price-point. It’s good enough to tempt some people to stretch their budget further, and even good enough for some to save money by not having to look higher up the range. It may be “basic” in its current positioning at the bottom of the Sony full-frame line-up, but it’s definitely outstanding in all other regards.

Every day we get plenty of new A7III tests. Here is the next roundup:

Ken Rockwell writes:

Sony has been the world’s top maker of image sensors for many, many decades — long before digital cameras. The A7 III is so good and so inexpensive I’m starting to wonder if they’re just trying to do anything to get us to buy their full-frame sensors, exactly as Kodak used to sell their cameras below cost just to get us to buy more film!

Anthony Thurston writes:

So take it from this Fujifilm shooter; the A7 III is legit and offers some of the best performance per dollar on the market right now. If full frame is what you are after and you are on a budget, the the Sony A7 III should be at the top of your list for consideration – no doubt.

Patrick Murphy-Racey writes:

If Sony had picked the price of $2498 for the A7III, it would have still been a good deal, and would have been $700 less than the A7RIII.  But at under $2,000, it’s so obvious to me they are just messing with the marketplace.  They are doing it because they can, and they have earned the right to not just disrupt, but aggressively begin to change the very landscape in which they have chosen to compete.
