Another trusted source confirmed (and added) the following Sony A7c specs:

1. Fully movable LCD screen
2. Eye tracking in video.
3. 24Mpix matrix
4. Body like A6600
5. New lens included (something like 28-60 4.5-5.6 – Note: source doesn’t remember the exact specs).

This new lens from the set is to have a construction similar to that used in the Nikkor 24-50. So the lens is compact in “resting” form, in order to use it, you have to pull it out with the appropriate button (lock).

It looks like there was a misunderstanding with a source. He said the A7c has no popup Flash but instead a popup EVF. The corrected himself. Yes there is no pop-up Flash but the EVF is fixed!

And one more new info: The exact price  of the body is 2.100 Euro!

One single source told me he heard something unexpected. That Sony would release a new LA-EA (A to E-mount) adapter. UPDATE: I have been told more about this adapter:

This adapter doesn’t have mirror (same like LA-EA3) so it works with sensor AF from E-mount body.
However, it also have motor integrated like LA-EA4.
They call it “LA-EA5” and sounds like its natural naming ;-)

The biggest surprise is that this would be the first A-mount related product announcement since 2015 :)

As usual SAR will be the first to let you know what’s coming from Sony! Today at 15:00 London time I will unveil the name of the next new Sony Full Frame E-mount camera. This camera will be the first Sony Full Frame camera NOT having the classic A7-A9 camera shape. It will also be the first of a new line of FF cameras. For months I got the rumor saying Sony would announce a new entry level camera. I supposed this would mean it would be priced below the A7III. I was wrong! I am now 100% sure of the info I will share now:

• YES this is an entry level camera of a “new line of FF E-mount cameras”
• NO the price will not be below the A7III but higher than the A7III !!!

The new line will define a series of compact and tiny FF E-mount cameras for vloggers, youtubers and travellers. This is a weird strategy from Sony…don’t know why they think this new kind of cameras would have to be priced above the A7III.

All other rumored specs are pretty solid:

• In mid September Sony will announce a new entry level Full Frame camera (entry level of a new line…price will be above A7III)

I got a rumor from a solid source. He said Sony decided to give the new entry level Full Frame E-mount camera a completely new kind of name. I know “A5” or “A6” are not new but they resemble to much the APS-C “A5xxx” and “A6xxx” naming structure. Expect something new like the ZV-1 name that changed the RX100 naming history.
