New Sony UK message about their A-mount commitment.
Sony UK finally rectified their misleading A-mount tweet from last week. At last the new tweet and the soon new A-mount camera announcement will give us some peace…for some time.

Today I reported how Sony will announce a new A-mount camera in early November. But that new camera will certainly not go on sale in Australia and New Zealand because Sony Oceania decided to not sell any A-mount camera and lenses anymore.
Sony’s strategy is to sell A-mount only in areas where it sells well and where mirrorless is having a hard time to eat the DSLR market share.
Here is the official news reported by SAR reader John on Twitter:

The Pentax FF DSLR camera details just got leaked. The camera will be released in Spring 2016 and all the specs shown on the image make me think that this is the A-mount FF camera I would like to get from Sony!
The Pentax FF has:
– Sony 36MP sensor
– 5 axis stabilization system (Sony tech?)
– Super resolution mode (Like the [shoplink 41530 ebay]E-M5II[/shoplink])
That would have been a terrific A-mount camera don’t you think?

This is just a short thanks to the anonymous source who sent me the correct RX1m2 rumor back in early August. I posted the rumor in September (article here).
Hope to hear more from you soon ;)

Of you have plenty of money to spend and want the best of the best than watch the Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 announcement on SAR at around 11am Berlin time. That lens will be big, gorgeous and expensive! UPDATE: Now announced! Full details can be read here.
A couple of hours later I will cover the A7sII reviews and image samples that are being posted by reviewers today!
