The X-mount version of the new Viltrox 75mm f/1.2 APS-C autofocus lens got leaked. According to the leaker there will be an E-mount version too once it’s announced on December 26th!
I am pretty sure the A9III and A7cII are coming in 2023. The most surprising bet here is that Chris believes Sony will entirely kill the A7s camera line. I don’t agree on this, but I am not sure the A7sIV is coming in late 2023…
This should be the first images of the upcoming TTartisan 105mm f/2.8 Shift E-mount lens. No info on pricing and launch date yet…

An usually reliable source told me that there is a a very good chance that Sony will introduce the new 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II at the CP+ show in February. It’s terrific news considering how tremendously good the new 24-70mm GM II is. Expect the lens to be lighter, smaller and optically improved over the predecessor!
In summary: Sony will soon announce these two new FE lenses:
You know that feeling when you prepare your camera bag for a longer travel: You will pack the 16-35mm and 24-70mm lens to cover the needed focal length. Well this might be about to change! Sony will announce the world’s first 20-70mm G zoom. It’s unconfirmed what the aperture will be, but it’s rumored to have constant f/4.0.
Nobody ever attempted to make a standard zoom with such a wide focal length. As you well know having 20mm instead of 24mm makes a whole lot of difference. And it might be that for some of our readers this one lens is wide enough to get this one lens instead of the dual zoom combo I mentioned before.
Here is how much wider the image will be (Source Github):
In a world where innovation is rare I am glad to see Sony doing something new, something that could even Canon and Nikon owner make wonder if they should jump over to Sony!
