A source just sent me this image of the new RX100VI. The camera has a new 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 lens and “super fast AF”. I am yet not 100% sure this image is legit but I guess it is the real thing. Expect it to be announced wthin the next 24 hours.

Today at 3.15pm London time Sony will announce the new RX100MVI. This image shows the new camera which will have a new 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 lens. Much faster autofocus with a new generation sensor. Also the EVF will be improved. I think this is a perfect Travel camera. Having 200mm instead of 100mm at the tele end makes a huge difference. I can now confirm via trusted sources the Sony RX100VI will be announced at around 3-4 pm London time! To recap the info we have about the new camera:

– new generation sensor
– improved EVF
– new 24-200mm f/2.8-4.5 lens
– nearly same size as the previous RX100V
– Preorders will be available later this week

Here you have the first images of the soon to be announced new Samyang 24mm f/2.8 FE autofocus lens. I have been told weight and size aare about the same of the current 35mm f/2.8 FE. Expect the lens to be announced this week.

There might be a RX100VI on June 6th but I am not 100% completely sure.
