Here is the list of rumored autofocus lenses coming for the Sony E-mount starting from this month

Sony FE 24-70mm F2.0 GM (likely coming before Summer)

Petition asks to Implement Custom LUT Option on the Sony a7s3

You can sign it now at Change.org. And also sign this petition from Philip Bloom where he asks Sony to make an MI shoe OLED EVF.

CineD explains why LUT support is so important:

If you own or use an FX 30, FX 3, FX 6, etc., then you can already load custom LUTs. Even some other Sony cameras offer this menu function, such as the vlogging ZV-E1 camera and the newish a7cII. Neither of the latter would be considered “Cinema” cameras by anyone. So it’s a little surprising that they would offer this functionality in some of their cameras, but not others – especially their flagship lowlight camera, the aS7III, which is used most by filmmakers.

Sony anticipates the shipment start for the new 24-50mm f/2.8 G

Sony planed to start shipment on May 24. But this has now been anticipated to May 10 at BHphoto, Adorama, Amazon, FocusCamera. Additionally today Sony Japan announced that this lens will ship from April 19 in Japan (before it was May 17).

I don’t know whether Sony has anticipated the start of shipping because it has resolved some production bottlenecks it has had in recent months or whether preorders numbers are low enough to anticipate shipping.

Important: Sony A1 firmware “fix” to get back Wifi/Bluetooth connection

Sony sent out an official answer to Christos Georgiu with a temporary fix of the Sony A1 Wifi/Bluetooth connection issues after the firmware update:

With reference to your enquiry regarding Sony ILCE-1, kindly note that we have received the outcome of the investigation which confirms that you can temporarily use the following workaround untill the fix will be released:
– [Wi-Fi] connect by selecting [Manual] in [IP Address Setting] of [Access Point Set.] under [Wi-Fi] and specifying the camera’s IP address.
– [LAN IP Address Setting] of [Wired LAN]
You can connect by selecting [Manual] and specifying the camera’s IP address.

However, The PC remote function and the sync release function may not be available.

Please share this information with anyone who is having trouble connecting to Wifi/Bluetooth! Thank you!

Next Sony announcement in two weeks! ZV-E10II and 85mm GMII announcement in May/June?

got info about TWO announcements happening by Sony between now and early Summer:

Mid April announcement: In mid April we are getting the Sony 16-25mm f/2.8. I have no info yet about other products that might be announced on that event.

May/June announcement: In May/June we are getting the Sony ZV-E10II and the 85mm f/1.4 GM II

Sony 24-70mm f/2.0…when? We should also should get the 24-70mm f/2.0 between now and June. But I got no info at all yet if it’s coming in mid April or late in May/June.

Hopefully I can get some more info in the upcoming days…I reall
