A new Sony patent has been published on February 6, 2024. All three lenses have the characteristics to be relatively compact but still perform extremely well:

I have been waiting for this a very long time. DJI announce a new DJI Mic 2 hot shoe adapter that works on Sony cameras. It allows you two things:

1) Direct audio recording without the 3.5mm cable
2) Powers the receiver

For now it has been announced in China only (DJI China store). Not sure when it will be available elsewhere.
