(SR4) Sony developed three new Full Frame sensors. 24, 32 and 36 Megapixel.

The next generation A-mount and E-mount Full Frame cameras will feature a newly designed Sony Full Frame sensor. There are three different versions that have been developed: 24, 32 and 36 megapixel sensors. It’s still hard to say which camera will use which sensor…
The first camera suing the new sensor shoudl be the NEX-FF!

(SR5) And here comes the Hasslblad Luxurious Sony RX100 clone!

Hasselblad Stellar camera with Mahogany wood grip

Hassy isn’t done yet with luxurious clone of Sony stiff. After the Hasselblad Lunar, a l$7,000 luxurious version of the NEX-7 they are now going to launch the $1,600+ clone of the Sony RX100. It’s named “Hasselblad Stellar”. And certainly the price is “stellar” :)

The pictures have been leaked at Photorumors who writes:

“The official announcement will be on July 26th. The price is expected to be between $1,600-$3,200 depending on the selected materials”

You can see all the different versions on the images below. I don’t expect any imrpovement in terms of image quality. The hardware and lens is exactly the same of the RX100 (not even from the newer RX100MII.

P.S.: I know only of one guy using the Lunar, it’s David Lynch (via Rob Sheridan’s blog).

Updated Post: (SR5) Sony will launch lenses with built-in imaging sensor!

Guess what this picture shows….two trusted sources told me this is a lens with built-in sensor, battery and memory!!! And the “lens-camera” transmits the images via NFC and WiFi to the smartphone/tablet! You can mount it on the smartphone but also use it separately!!! You will see the live view images on your mobile device.  This isn’t Start Trek or James Bond imagination…this is an SR5 confirmed rumor coming via our Top Sources!

This is a complete new kind of photography and probably the smallest camera ever made on a large sensor. I have been told the first lens to be released soon will feature the same RX100MII sensor and same Zeiss lens!!! And there will be a second model with smaller sensor and larger zoom.

I don’t know what to think about this, what do you say…what’s the cool thing about that completely newway of taking photos?

(SR4) A New 16-X G zoom to be announced along the new NEX cameras.

Along the new NEX-5T, NEX DSLR shaped camera, NEX-FF and NEX-7 successor ee can be almost sure that Sony will launch a new High Quality G zoom lens for the NEX APS-C system. We have been told that it starts at 16mm at the wide end. And I have been told this isn’t the only lens to come. At leats one more APS-C zoom and one APS-C prime could be announced. Obvisouly I dind’t count the new NEX-FF lenses into this list. Yep, a lot of stuff is coming soon! Stay tuned on SAR!

One more important thing about the current rumors work: I know well you have plenty of questions on all future cameras, lenses and firmware updates. But Me and You have to be patient. There are so many rumors I am receiving in these weeks. And I know for sure Sony is trying to mislead us all by spreading false info (or partial incorrect info). They have all the reasons to do so. But it’s my job to be patient and not post everything I get without at least try to double check the info. And still, I cannot guarantee all my rumors I correct. But I try to get as close as I can get to the truth. And really, you don’t have to wait a long time to see the real new cameras. Only two months to go until the next Sony product announcement wave!

(SR4) Sony NEX-5T coming too.

We got a confirmation from a trusted sources that also a new NEX-5 is coming soon. It will be named “NEX-5T“. I don’t have reliable specs to share now. But this is the fourth new NEX camera we heard about:

The first (SR4) is the NEX with DSLR shape,
The second (SR4) is the NEX-5T
The third (SR3) is the NEX-7 successor
and fourth (SR4) is the NEX-FF

I don’t know yet if all of them will be released in September.

P.S: Deal Extended: $150 off on NEX cameras at Amazon US (Click here).

Honami Smartphone Camera specs confirmed. Honami Mini coming too?

The first Sony smartphone with high photo quality will be announced on September 4th. You can see the invitation card on top and the specs and images on the table below. We posted these specs a couple of weeks ago. The interesting thing is that one of our sources that shared us info about that Honami phone also said the NEX-FF would arrive soon :)

I will have some more bits on the Honami soon. And VR-Zone reports there will be a Honami mini too.
