Chris and Jordan from DpreviewTV tested the new lens:

And Craig Parry (craigparryphotography.com) sent me these beatiful image samples shot with the 400mm lens:

50mm size comparison between the new Sigma, Zeiss and Sony

The new Sigma 50mm ART FE lens is just slightly longer than the Zeiss. The Zeiss is a bit thicker and a bit lighter. Of course in terms of lightness the Sony 1.8 beats everything by far. Dind’t include the Samyang 50mm as it isn’t listed on the CameraSize database.
