Sony announced their program for the PhotoPlus show (link 1, link 2 and link 3). Their coolest idea is certainly that one:

This year at PhotoPlus Expo, Sony’s VIP lounge gives Sony enthusiasts a chance to relax, mingle and take advantage of a deliciously-innovative photo op that’s sure to generate as much buzz as the one you’ll get from the caffeine. Get your photo taken and have it printed — that’s right, PRINTED — on a free cup of coffee! The photo is actually on the coffee, not the cup!

Cinema5D posted that A6500 and RX100m5 hands-on video. About the A6500 heating they write:

The overheating problem that was a major issue with the a6300 is hopefully a thing of the past. In the camera menu you can now change the “Auto power off temp” setting from Standard to High. As a result, the camera will get warmer to the touch, but the recording time before switching off will be longer. How much longer depends on many factors, but future user experience will determine how good it is.

(SR2) Rumor from a new source: Sony 20mm and 135mm FE to be soon?

This is a rumor from a new source. He said that Sony will announce those two new lenses:

20mm f/2.8 FE (Ideal for documentary, landscape and architecture photography
135mm f/2.0 FE

He added that they should be announced in November. So if (big if) that source is right I don’t know if these lenses will be announced next week or in another separate event in November.

Reminder: Rumors from new sources have to be taken with a big dose of caution. The reason I am posting this on SAR is that sometimes these rumors turn out to be true just like it happened with the recent A6500 rumor.
