Newsshooter at IBC 2016: Tilta fan cooled Sony a6300 cage from Dan Chung on Vimeo.

At the IBC show in Amsterdam Newsshooter reports about a new product from Tilta:

Tilta have come out with a cage that is has an active cooling fan in the base that they say should help extend record times and prevent sensor issues. The fan requires 12V power from an external source.

SAR reader Daniel Wood managed to install Instagram on the Sony A7rII! I think this is a super feature and hopefully it will be available soon for all SAR readers. Feel free to post questions on our comment system Daniel will surely answer you!

One more note for Sony: You should really allow the instalaltion of third party APPS on Sony cameras!

Sigma made quite a Splash on the web when they announced their eight new E-mount Cine lenses. And now we got some clue about the pricing of these: In an interview with Newsshooter Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki said the new Cine lenses will cost under $5,000. That’s about the same price of the Zeiss Compact Primes
