The very same three sources who shared ot us the Zv1 specs and images (leaked yesterday here) also told us that in July (Note: updated timeline info) Sony will announce this:

• 12-24mm f/2.8 GM lens
• Sony A7II successor. Note: A new Full Frame E-mount camera that was already registered in Asia (article here).

At the moment I have received no A7sII successor specs. But let’s hope it has the fully articulating screen on the side like the ZV1 has.

But wait…there is more!

There is also a rumor about a “third surprise” product. But it’s not clear yet if this product will be announced together with the A7sII or on a second event in June/July. What I can tell you yet about this “surprise” product is that it’s not an A7IV.

This is the first blurry picture of the Sony ZV1 !!!

You clearly see the bigger grip and the fully articulating screen on the side. The source also told me this: It has an integrated ND filter!!!

• Looks like an RX100VII
• Has a fully articulating screen on the side similar to the Canon EOS-RP
• Better grip than current RX100 cameras
• Very big Video record button
• integrated ND filter
• 24-70mm F1.8 – 2.8 lens
• All the autofocus features like: EyeAf and so forth

I know folks, sometimes Sony disappointed us, sometimes my rumors disappointed you. But this time I am 99% sure the rumors I got are good ;)

Today I will post more Sony ZV1 info, but there is a lot more to come the days after about the new Full Frame E-mount gear that Sony will launch in June!

I told you that after the ZV1 announcement on May 26 Sony will have a major announcement in June. We should get at least a new FF E-mount camera but from what I heard so far this will NOT be the A7IV. So chances are good to get the A7sII successor or/and something else. One thing for sure: We will get new FE lenses too!

But I expect to get many more details soon. Stay tuned as usual!

I can now confirm via multiple sources that around May 26 Sony will announce the new “Sony ZV1” compact selfie camera. The camera is specially made for vloggers and has the following characteristics:

1. Improved mic
2. Vari Angle LCD
3. 24-70mm F1.8 – 2.8
4.One Touch Bokeh Feature
5. Auto Object Detect
6. Existing Real Time AF and Real time Eye AF

Don’t worry, after the May 26 event Sony will have a MAJOR Full Frame E-mount event in June!  And keep always in mind SAR was the only website reporting the ZV1 rumor yet. All the others are copycats ;)
